How Many Chapters Are In The Bible?

The Holy Bible is a compilation of many different books -- sixty six (66), to be exact. Originally, those books did not have the chapter divisions that most translations have now. Chapter and verse divisions were eventually added in order to make it easier to reference to a specific portion of Scripture.

The following chart maps out the amount of chapters in each of the sixty six (66) books of the Protestant Bible, which does not include books in the Apocrypha.
